Hi Kevin, really good presentation. Some good insights I haven't seen before. I'm a huge proponent of the crowdfunding model, for many/all the reasons you list...I worked with Kickstarter many years ago and now an Advisor to Appbackr.com (which you should add to the list on slide #8- doing big things)My one comment is to entrepreneurs is to temper the enthusiasm for the model with the realities of SEC / securities regulations in the U.S. There is no legal for startups to sell securities (meaning equity or debt in your startup) to un-accredited investors...this is just the way it is, and I am hopeful that efforts like the SEC Petition will change that, but if I were a startup trying to fund my business, I wouldn't hold my breath (SEC is pretty slow when loosening protective laws....think bank deregulation in the '80's/'90's). Nice stuff, thanks! Nathan Beckord VentureArchetypes.com
