As some of you found out, our recently added antispam software has been banning users after they post legitimate comments — if you've had trouble logging in, that's probably why.
It took us longer than expected, but we think we've addressed this issue…by removing that code altogether (shh…please don't tell the spammers!).
Can you help us test everything out? We'd really appreciate it!
1. If you currently can't log in, then the system might've banned you before we pushed these updates. Please send us your full name as well as your Bitmob username to support [at] bitmob.com, and we'll try to fix your account as soon as possible. Let us know this is an OLD problem.
2. If you currently can log in, then would you mind dropping a random comment or two or eight anywhere on Bitmob? On this post would be fine, though people who've put real content on this site would probably appreciate your feedback. Plus…don't forget, all your comments still count toward our Super Bitmob Giveaway. And here's another contest to drop a note on as well….
If the site accepts your comment just fine, then great! Everything is working as it should.
But if your comment doesn't show up and then you can't log into Bitmob anymore, can you let us know at support [at] bitmob.com? Tell us that this is a NEW problem, so we know the fixes didn't work. Give us your full name and username as well, so we can reinstate your account.
