PlayJam partners with Miniclip to bring gaming to Smart TV

Casual games network PlayJam has partnered with free online gaming site Miniclip to bring their titles to Smart TV.

Miniclip will use the PlayJam platform to bring games like Fragger, Gravity Gun, and iStunt to Smart TVs manufactured by Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic, Western Digital, and Vestel. The titles will utilize social features, including leaderboards and integration with social networks.

In a quote issued to GamesBeat in a press release, Anthony Johnson, marketing and communications director of PlayJam, expressed his excitement with the new deal, stating, “Miniclip represents the very best of online and mobile gaming, so it is with great pride that we can work together to bring a number of their highly successful titles to the PlayJam Games Network.”

Miniclip’s website sees more than 65 million players a month. The privately owned and funded company has distributed, developed, and published over 750 cross-platform games for their site and for mobile devices.
