Electronic Arts announced it will publish Crysis 3 in the spring of 2013.

Interested players can order it today via EA’s Origin digital distribution service. Anyone purchasing the special Hunter Edition of the game will have early access to scheduled multiplayer items like the Signature Bow and XP boosts that remain active until level 5. Crysis 3 will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

EA also revealed three exclusive preorder packs, though have not stated where to find them. All retailer sets include the Hunter Edition perks and extras:

Stalker Pack — provides early multiplayer access to the deadly semi-auto Jackal shotgun. This powerful, close-range shotgun comes with a unique silencer attachment, custom weapon skin and two exclusive themed in-game dog tags.

Overkill Pack — features early multiplayer access to the Typhoon assault weapon and skin. Spewing 500 rounds a second, the Typhoon gives players the ability to go guns blazing to take back the Liberty Dome. Also included are two exclusive Overkill themed in-game dog tags.

Predator Pack —┬ádelivers early multiplayer access to the Feline submachine gun and exclusive camo. With an extremely fast rate of fire and a 60 round magazine the Feline is highly effective and deadly, at short range.

Crysis 3 follows Prophet on his revenge mission against the Cell Corporation and their destructive nanodomes. He returns to New York City only to find it transformed into a dense and dangerous rain forest complete with overgrown trees and raging rivers. Seven distinct environments formed inside the massive New York City Liberty Dome and Prophet must traverse them all on his quest for retribution.
