Nathan Drake and the Big Daddy Bouncer join PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale

Sony revealed Nathan Drake and the Big Daddy as the two newest playable characters in PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, the company’s crossover fighter, during its 2012 E3 press conference.

Nathan Drake has become one of Sony’s most iconic and popular characters since debuting in 2007’s Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. His inclusion was always a foregone conclusion.

The Big Daddy, however, is a more surprising choice since BioShock is a multiplatform franchise. In fact, the first BioShock wasn’t even originally released for the PlayStation 3. It’s worth noting that mutltiple types of Big Daddies exist in the underwater world of Rapture, but the version in PSASBR is the Bouncer, the most iconic version of the giant, drill-armed monster (picture below).
