Behind the Booth: The trials and tribulations of a gaming expo exhibitor

Red 5 Studios is no stranger to the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in Seattle, which is currently underway throughout the weekend. PAX is the gaming industry’s largest consumer expo, and Red 5’s upcoming game, Firefall, has had the most elaborate booth for two years running. For those who might be curious, Red 5 has launched a new video miniseries detailing the studio’s experience at PAX. What’s it like prepping a major new version of your game to show to the public, building a massive expo booth, and managing a custom-made tour bus that looks more like a starship? Those questions and more are addressed in the “Behind the Booth” videos.

You can view the first two daily videos below, with a third on the way (this article will be updated when it goes live). And check back next week for GamesBeat’s in-depth interview with Red 5’s chief executive officer Mark Kern.
