Want to piss off your contacts? Add an Obama or Romney bumper sticker to your emails
Mixing politics and email sounds even worse than discussing religion on a first date.
But for bold souls who want the world to know where they stand — perhaps the same folks who plaster loud bumper stickers on their cars — the email signature experts at WiseStamp have just the thing.
Thursday, WiseStamp released a U.S. elections email application that allows web denizens to embed their Barack Obama or Mitt Romney support in their email messages. Once installed, a not-so-subtle banner featuring the sender’s favorite candidate is automatically appended to the bottom of every email sent.
WiseStamp makes a popular freemium email signature product for embedding socially enhanced name plates in outgoing messages. The tool has been used in more than 400 million sent email messages to date. The latest political addition to the system takes WiseStamp’s long-running theme of personal expression through email to the next level.
WiseStamp’s U.S. elections email application is currently available to people using the Google Chrome web browser. Support for additional browsers is said to be coming soon.
