sf venturebeat spaceVentureBeat is getting into the real estate business. Just kidding, sort of.

Bottom line, we’re looking for great roommates.

Seriously, our landlord in San Francisco just gave us a great deal, letting us sweep up more than 2,000 square feet in extra space within our property downtown. So we want to put it to use, and we can’t think of a better way to do this than to share it with some of you guys — members of the startup community who we know and love.

We’re obviously going to be selective. map venturebeatBut if you’re looking for office space to rent, do let us know; we’re offering it at a very nice price, and we’re building a list of prospective partners now. This is a  beautiful spot, with full panoramic views of the City, right in the financial district. We’re at 50 California St., high up on the 32nd floor. Check out the photos here to see what your view will look like (on non-foggy days, you can see more than just the tip of the Golden Gate Bridge that’s visible in this shot I took today.) Views of the Bay Bridge are on the other side of our property.

Right now, we have room for up to five companies to join us. You’ll have your own space with plenty of privacy, adjacent to our VentureBeat headquarters. There’s a kitchen, conference rooms, high speed Internet, and everything else you’ll need to run your business. We may also have furniture to throw in to make your office as comfortable as possible.

The space will be open at the beginning of November. If you’re interested, send an email to elyssa@venturebeat.com, and let us know a little about your company. We’ll get back to you with more information.
