Guest appearances and surprise crossovers in video games usually distract the player and end immersion. But well-placed cameos are amusing — especially if you have to dig around to find them.

These creepy monsters are everywhere these days.
In the Caustic Caverns, follow the train tracks until you see a giant door. To the right of it, you'll spot some funny-looking blocks. Hop over them and hug the left wall untill you reach Minecraft-like dirt cubes. Break them to enter a secret area inhabited by Creepers, including a massive Badass Creeper.

The terrible Frostmourne sword from World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King glows eerily inside a hidden cave in Alkali Lake (chapter 2). Logan can't use it, but the skeleton next to it makes me think it's for the better.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed — Team Fortress 2

This cameo is unconfirmed, so don't get your hats too excited.
A video on YouTube shows an entire race with a Team Fortress 2 kart driven by Pyro (car), Spy (plane), and Heavy (boat) in the unreleased PC version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The video looks very convincing, but it's also riddled with racist and anti-gay comments in the annotations. We will not link to it because of this.
So, is the cameo for real? Is it part of a DLC pack? I'll update this article as more information becomes available.
