Potatoman Seeks The Troof has one crazy game trailer

This is how to generate excitement about a game.

Potatoman Seeks The Troof is a platform game for the PC from developer Pixeljam. It has Atari-style graphics, five challenging levels, and a story that — according to the developer — will make you question everything you thought you knew about potatoes.

Oh, and it also has the craziest fake-documentary trailer ever conceived:

That’s saltier than a tube of bacon milk squeezed across my cousin Walter’s forechin.

The trailer follows the fictional man who adopted and raised Potatoman. He recaps Potatoman’s childhood and tough “schoolin'” years. It’s a bizarre mockumentary that has me ready to throw down my $3 dollars to help the titular spud discover said “troof.”

Potatoman Seeks The Troof is available for purchase now on Pixeljam’s website.
