If the PlayStation 4 and the next Xbox are real, 2013 is the best time to unveil them.
This year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) game industry trade show in L.A. should bring two of the biggest announcements in years. We expect Microsoft and Sony (a Sony executive reportedly confirmed new console plans for E3 or earlier.) to unveil their next generation of video game consoles, finally bringing a possible close to one of the longest console generations ever. It’s been nearly eight years since Microsoft kicked off “the HD generation” with the Xbox 360 in 2005. Console gamers are eager to play something new.
We know we want new consoles. But what do we want out of them? GamesBeat put together a set of poll questions to see what you want from the next generation of consoles. Why not take a minute or two to read through and answer? Please leave comments as well.
