Because let’s face it guys, the guilty pleasure for everyone is watching to see what the advertisements have in store. All of America is watching and every company is scrambling to come up with the absolute, most memorable commercial they can come up with.

I don’t know about the rest of America, but I nearly shed a tear when the God of War: Ascension Super Bowl commercial came on.

Everything about it set the mood in the right place. Kratos’ daughter’s ashes coats over him in his apparent state of shock. Ellie Goulding’s haunting melody lulls over into the crescendo. We can only see the look of pain in his eyes. And that’s exactly why the commercial got to me, it made me feel sympathy. It made me feel, guys.
