If you’re obsessed with amazing technology and how it impacts our lives, then this post might be for you.

VentureBeat is looking to hire a full-time Director of Event Content to join our team and help define our industry-leading events about technology trends.

VentureBeat is devoted to exhaustive coverage of the technology revolution — mobile gadgets and software, social video games, health care, cloud, “big data,” and app development. Our executive events are a part of that mission to define innovation, and this year we’re hosting seven conferences that draw elite attendees from a variety of fields.

We’re now looking for a master curator to lead our event content team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing event agendas, recruiting speakers, and working closely with the rest of the VentureBeat event logistics, marketing, and business teams across numerous annual events in the mobile, cloud, data, gaming, and developer sectors. You will work with top executives, investors, and policymakers shaping the future of many sectors of the tech industry.

Editorial skills are a plus: You’ll coordinate closely with VentureBeat’s editorial team to help showcase our events on the site by writing up case studies and soliciting op-ed stories.

We provide a fun, energetic startup environment in downtown San Francisco, along with panoramic views from the 32nd floor of our 50 California Street office. If you are interested to learn more about this role, please contact Elyssa Thorp, Director of Events, at
