Nintendo releases free Pokémon TV app for iOS and Android

The thing about the animated Pokémon cartoon series is that I can’t always take it with me … or at least, I couldn’t until this morning.

Nintendo just released Pokémon TV on iOS and Android devices for free. The application is a portal for fans of the pocket monsters to watch the animated show anytime and anywhere. The app has a constant rotation of 50 episodes from the TV series, and new episodes will debut each week.

In addition to the show, Pokémon TV will also feature the many movies of the popular franchise. That includes the newest film, Kyurem vs. The Sword of Justice, which will stream on the app from Feb. 15 through Feb. 18. It’ll make a great belated Valentine’s Day present … or probably not.
