GamesBeat Show some love with GamesBeat’s gaming valentines February 13, 2013 8:00 AM Mike Minotti 0 You’ve probably seen gaming-themed valentines before (like the digital cards we received from multiple developers and publishers), but the ones in the gallery below are special. Why? Because I made them! I originally drew most of these masterpieces back when I was an intern at Bitmob (which later turned into GamesBeat). I included all of the old valentines and a few new ones. These lovely cards feature characters from games like Mass Effect, World of Warcraft, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Mega Man, and more. Please share them with your friends, and let them know how much you care! You must expose the world to my artistic genius! It looks like you’re Commander Shepard’s romance option! How exactly was Mega Man able to defeat Magnet Man again? Bulbasaur chooses you! Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion and Sonya prove that love can bloom on the battlefield. Kratos trying his best to put on a smile. Remember when Resident Evil was known for cheesy lines instead of being horrible? Alistair from Dragon Age: Origins confesses his love to Morrigan. Warcraft’s Illidan has a heart for you! Metroid’s Samus and Mother Brain decide to hug it out. Rayman hearts you! Link is showing those heart-filling fairies some appreciation. There’s a similar valentine like this floating on the web, but I’m pretty sure I made mine first. Suck it, Internet! GamesBeat 2014 — VentureBeat’s sixth annual event on disruption in the video game market — is coming up on Sept 15-16 in San Francisco. Purchase one of the first 50 tickets and save $400!
