HealthBeat is gathering the leading health care decision makers in the same room:
- Hospital CIOs, clinicians, and payers
- Execs from disruptive tech companies
- Trendsetters in the patient activation sphere
We’ll analyze trends and showcase breakthrough products.
New speaker additions:
Mary Grealy, President & CEO, Healthcare Leadership Council
Mary Grealy is president of the Healthcare Leadership Council, a coalition of chief executives of the nation’s leading health care companies and organizations. The HLC advocates consumer-centered health care reform, emphasizing the value of private sector innovation. It is the only health policy advocacy group that represents all sectors of the health care industry. She was appointed to the position in August 1999.
Missy Krasner, Executive in Residence, Morgenthaler
Missy is one of Silicon Valley’s investors who has impressed me the most over the past year, since I started brainstorming HealthBeat. She brings considerable experience in Washington (a big deal in health care, which is highly regulated) to the technology world, and is better connected in this space than just about anyone I know. She joined Morgenthaler Ventures’ Menlo Park office with more than twenty years of product development and marketing, business development, and policy experience in healthcare and health information technology. Her experience ranges from coordinating high-level policy briefings at senior levels of federal government to launching health technology products at Google. Missy will offer her insights into why the personal health record died, and how the experience gave birth to a newer, smarter set of patient tools.
Thanks to ArchPoint Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures, and Norwest Venture Partners for sponsoring HealthBeat 2013.
