Skullgirls preorder slashed by 20%, beta starts today

This sponsored post is produced by Dealzon.

Indie 2D fighting game Skullgirls recently ended a successful Indiegogo campaign, raising over $800,000 to bring the popular PSN/Xbox Live Arcade title to the PC fans with additional character DLCs. The best part: Squigly, the first DLC character developed from the Indiegogo campaign, will be free for a limited time upon release as well as available on all platforms.

If you want to join in on the fun, all preorders of Skullgirls will get access to the closed Beta that starts today on August 1st. The preorder of Skullgirls is only $11.99 at GameFly for the Steam key (currently Steam has the game listed at $14.99). This makes a solid 20% off for a very well-reviewed title.

This week also marks the start of the Humble Bundle Deep Silver Sale, unsurprisingly devoted to Deep Silver games. The purchase structure’s fairly typical for Humble Bundle. Pay a minimum of a dollar and you’ll receive Saints Row: The Third, Saints Row 2, Risen 2: Dark Waters, and Sacred 2 Gold. Beating the average (currently $4.95) will net you two additional games, namely Dead Island GOTY and Saints Row 3: The Full Package. And those willing to fork over $25 or more will get a copy of Dead Island Riptide, but if you’re just in it for Riptide, you might be better served by the GameFly deal on that title alone for $15.99. It’s worth noting that, with the exception of Dead Island Riptide, you won’t get individual Steam keys for the titles, but instead receive a key for each price point’s games.
