Grand Theft Auto V is breaking records faster than a vigilante in a high-speed car chase. Now Sony has revealed that it’s the biggest selling digital release ever for PlayStation platforms, beating June’s PlayStation 3 exclusive survival-shooter The Last of Us for the top spot.

This info comes from the European PlayStation Blog, as originally seen by Eurogamer. Sony did not disclose specific sales numbers.

Grand Theft Auto V made $1 billion worldwide during its first three days at retail. It is the fastest-selling entertainment property in history.
