Call of Duty: Ghosts preorder bonus roundup (best to worst)

This sponsored post is produced by Dealzon.

Update 11/19: CoD: Ghosts now released! PC Steam key deal is only $42.99 with no coupon required, Season Pass is $39.99 with coupon GFDNOV20

In just a few more days, Activision’s highly anticipated release Call of Duty: Ghosts will hit the shelves. For those looking to pick up the best preorder deal before the November 5th launch date, there’s quite a few retailers offering unique bonuses. Some are good but some are decidedly on the meh side of things. We round it all up for you.

Spoiler Alert:¬†If reading a wall of text isn’t your style… the best PC deal is the 20% off Steam key for $48.99 (use coupon GMG20-P6Y1F-KC19F), whereas the best 360/Xbone deal is at Microsoft Store (you’d get a free $10 Xbox Gift Code). PS3 players should look to the Dell or Best Buy deal listed below.

What Every Preorder of COD: Ghosts Will Get

Every preorder game, regardless of the platform, comes with the “Free Fall Dynamic” multiplayer map. The map puts you inside a collapsing building for what hopefully pans out as a unique FPS experience. In addition to the map, those who preorder will get the opportunity to participate in the “Double XP Weekend”, which gets you 2X experience from Friday, November 8th at 10AM Pacific through Monday, November 11th at 10AM Pacific.

The Best COD: Ghosts Preorder Bonuses

In addition to he map and double xp weekend, here’s the low down on the additional bonuses you can get unique to each retailer:

  • Green Man Gaming: Might be the best way to go for the PC Download. They’ve got the Steam key marked down by 20% after the discount code GMG20-P6Y1F-KC19F (expires 11/4 at 11AM ET for obvious reason).
  • Dell: They’re not exactly known for selling video games, but Dell has a pretty hot incentive for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC (physical copy), Xbox ONE, and PS4. You have to pay the full $59.99 MSRP but you then get a $25 PROMO eGift card. The gift card arrives via email 10-20 days after the game is shipped.
  • Best Buy: If you’re a loyal “My Rewards” member (formerly RewardZone) Best Buy will throw an extra 500 points ($10 worth) your way when you preorder for the Xbox 360, PS3, XONE, or PS4.
  • The Microsoft Store: If ordering DLC’s and games on Xbox LIVE is your style, the Microsoft Store has a decent enough bonus. They’re throwing in a $10 Xbox Gift Code (arrives via email) which can then be redeemed on Xbox LIVE. This bonus only applies to those who preorder the Xbox 360 or Xbox ONE versions of the game.
  • Amazon: Those who preorder from Amazon get an interesting set of bonuses. First off you get 2 Amazon exclusive COD themed digital wall papers no matter which platform you choose – these are emailed out to you and can be used for your PC or mobile device. For those that order on the 360, PS3, XONE, or PS4 will get an Amazon exclusive in-game Federation patch. Lastly, they’re throwing in a $5 credit towards Sons of Anarchy: Season 5 on Blu-ray or DVD.
  • GameStop: Those fan of the classic Ghost character from Modern Warfare 2 will get him unlocked on multiplayer for those who preorder from GameStop.
  • Walmart: If you want something physical with your preorder Wally World is throwing in a bonus COD themed Mega Bloks figure for the PS3, XONE, and PS4 (Xbox 360 sold out).
