Xbox One Day launch titles deal roundup

Xbox ONE makes its debut tomorrow. Hopefully you’re either raring to go stand in line at midnight to pick one up or you’ve already preordered because the console is sold out everywhere online. Fortunately, the games are in stock, and while there aren’t any outright discounts, the Microsoft Store online is willing to give you a $10 Xbox Gift Code for buying the “Day One” editions of Ryse: Son of Rome, Dead Rising 3, and Forza Motorsport 5. The $10 bonus can be redeemed on Xbox LIVE.

Each Day One Edition comes with additional “exclusive” DLC for the game. The Day One Edition of Ryse: Son of Rome includes a Legionnaire’s Trust Sword and an extra multiplayer level. Dead Rising 3 includes two additional outfits with unique weapons. Forza Motorsport 5’s Day One DLC gets you 3 additional cars. Reviews of Ryse looks to be mixed online thus far, but GamesBeat’s Dean Takahashi rates the game at a favorable 86/100.

For those who prefer gaming on the PC, there are ton of titles bundled together this week from various retailers. Amazon has the “BioShock Triple Pack” which includes BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite for only $15 – an insanely good offer if you consider Steam sells BioShock Infinite by itself for $39.99. Green Man Gaming came out this week with the Tomb Raider Collection for $14.99, plus there’s a 20% off coupon dropping that price to $12. GameFly also offers up the “Alan Wake Franchise Pack” for a mere $10 after coupon.
