Customers in Europe can now purchase Apple’s new Mac Pro, with delivery to France as early as Jan. 14.

The older Mac Pro model breached European Union rules requiring extra shielding on fans and electrical ports. It hasn’t been shipping in Europe since last March.

Apple’s new Mac Pro model, which sports a completely new design, now complies with those EU requirements. A French site, MacGeneration, initially pointed out that the new Mac Pro had begun shipping during the holiday season.

Those who order the Mac Pro today should receive it in early February.
