Update: 5/29: The game has long released, and the 25% off deal is over. Fret not though, discounts are only getting better. Check here for the latest South Park: The Stick of Truth deals
Update 5/28/14: 25% off deal is over, but a 20% discount remains. If you’re in North America: GameStop is $40.10 — if you’re in EU/UK, GMG has it for €/£32 after coupon QUK706-XWFKI6-8UK3NL.
Deal alert for those looking to finally buy South Park: The Stick of Truth after the numerous release delay (one big hurdle among them being the death of its previous publisher, THQ). If you’ve read all the reviews since yesterday’s release and you’ve made up your mind in joining Cartman’s crazy antics in this tactical RPG, you can count yourself lucky because the PC Steam key version of Stick of Truth is 25% off at GMG. A solid $15 off just after release day? Seriously you guys. This is the best news ever?
Both of the coupon codes for The Stick of Truth is set to expire this upcoming Friday March 12th, at 12pm Eastern time. The 2nd code listed above is for the EU/UK/AU, etc. Unlike a lot of coupons at GMG, this one is not site-wide and will only work on South Park, so don’t bother trying to grab Titanfall with the 25% off code, as it won’t work (yes of course we tried).
Despite the fact that The Stick of Truth is now published by Ubisoft, the PC version will active on Steam and not the Uplay DRM. So that’s one less DRM to download (if you’ve somehow avoided playing Assassin’s Creed series or any of the recent Ubisoft titles). If you need to read another review to cement the buying decision on South Park: The Stick of Truth, check out this in-depth review on GamesBeat.
