Volar Video, a digital video technology company, is in the process of raising a $10 million funding round, according to an SEC filing.

“We have developed a proprietary online video platform and content management system (CMS), giving our clients the ability to broadcast and distribute digital content at a limited cost,” the company’s website states. Its clients include the Kentucky Speedway, the USA Swimming Network, and others.

Volar Video is based in Lexington, Ky. It promoted its chief sales and marketing officer, David Bertram, to the chief executive role on February 1 of this year. The company has raised $1.33 million in debt to date.
