Club Nintendo Announces Elite Status Rewards

Club Nintendo has decided to go a different route this year with its gold and platinum level member rewards. Rather than offer actual physical items and downloadable rewards as they have in years past. All reward offerings in 2014 will be in downloadable form.

Rewards available for gold or platinum members:

  • Super Mario Land 2 – 3DS
  • Zelda 2 – The Adventure of Link – Wii U
  • Warioland 2 – 3DS
  • Donkey Kong 3 – 3DS
  • Kid Icarus – Wii U
  • Ice Climber – Wii U
  • Super Mario Bros. – Wii U
  • Metroid – 3DS

Rewards available for platinum members only:

  • Mario & Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move – 3DS
  • Dillon’s Rolling Western – 3DS
  • Fluidity: Spin Cycle – 3DS
  • Earthbound – Wii U
  • Game & Wario – Wii U
  • NES Remix – Wii U
  • Dr. Luigi – Wii U
  • Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D – 3DS


Gold or platinum Club Nintendo status is earned as a result of taking surveys and registering video games and consoles to earn coins at Once you have accumulated enough coins you are awarded a gold or platinum status depending on how many coins you earned throughout the year. 300 coins earns you gold status while 600 coins earns you platinum. The Club Nintendo year begins July 1st and ends June 30th.
