Dave McClure
Dave McClure has been geeking out in Silicon Valley for over 15 years as a programmer, entrepreneur, startup advisor, angel investor, and internet marketing nerd. In the early 90's Dave was a consultant for evil empires Microsoft and Intel, and was founder/CEO of Aslan Computing, an Internet 1.0 startup that failed to IPO for a bazillion dollars (but was still acquired). In 2001 Dave joined PayPal to lead their developer network program. In 2005 he ran marketing for job search engine SimplyHired.com and its evil twin SimplyFired.com. In addition to helping startups get started, Dave chairs user groups and conferences on entrepreneurship, microfinance, and search technology.
