Ray Rothrock
Ray Rothrock is managing general partner at venture capital firm Venrock. He joined in 1988 and has made more than 40 investments. His venture capital career has its roots at Yankee Atomic Electric as a nuclear engineer, at Sun Microsystems and with two failed startups. An engineer at heart with a keen insight into product markets, Ray loves to tinker with technology. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Texas A&M Foundation, where he chairs the investment committee. Ray also serves on the Visiting Committee of the MIT Nuclear Science and Engineering Department.
Ray currently serves on the board of Check Point Software, an alumni investment.
