Adding a shock collar to a Sega Genesis is a bad idea

idiots

Many stupid things begin with a poorly planned creative impulse. For two curious French gamers, creativity gave them a shock collar wired into a Sega Genesis. Yeah, that seems safe…and fun.

The idea is that every time your character is injured in a game, the collar gives you a shock. I guess if you really dig negative stimuli while trying to get through a difficult level, a device like this has a few uses. For the rest of us sane and tender-throated people, we'll stick with thumb blisters and hand cramps as a punishment for playing poorly.
