Microsoft sold a paltry number of Surface tablets in the last quarter — somewhere between 680,000 and 750,000 units — the research firm IHS iSuppli estimates.
Research firm IHS iSuppli released a report today saying that the number of tablet shipments in 2012 will decline 1.2 percent. While this might not seem like a huge decline, it may mark the beginning fall of a technology that has entered so many of our homes.
