In light of Facebook’s huge mobile risk, a “Facebook phone” looks like a smart solution
One of the biggest risks Facebook listed in yesterday’s high-profile IPO filing was “mobile.” The company hasn’t quite figured out what to do with advertising on phones, so it could struggle to bring in the bank as more users choose phones over PCs.

AT&T fails to wow with 5 new Android phones
AT&T‘s family of Android phones is getting crowded. The company has launch five new Android devices, including the sequel to a phone released just this year, the Motorola Atrix 2.

Apple to ship 86.4M iPhones in 2011, overtaking Nokia
Apple will finally surpass Nokia in smartphone shipment volumes this year, shipping nearly twice as many iPhones as it did last year, according to a report by Digitimes Research.
Apple is expected to ship 86.4 million iPhones this year, up 82 percent from 2010. Nokia’s smartphone shipments, meanwhile, will fall to 74.4 million units this year from over 100 million last year.
