Competition details:

The GamesBeat team has hand-selected the seven hottest new gaming startups from the submission pool and invited them to make their pitch live onstage in front of an expert panel of judges and 500+ industry execs, entrepreneurs, investors, and media.

The judges will select the most promising startup, based on the following criteria:

» Freshness
» Innovation
» Potential for business success

The winner will be announced live onstage at GamesBeat 2012 and will receive a VentureBeat writeup, introductions to game investors in our network, and a bunch of other cool prizes.
