Emergence of the personal-assistant robots: PR2, Asimo and Dexter
A Silicon Valley start-up named Willow Garage, backed by early Google employee, is the latest company trying to make personal-assistant robots.
It was started by eGroups founder and Google architect Scott Hassan, and has made its robotic platform open source to encourage other developers to help.
