DisplayLink raises $8M for network display chips
DisplayLink, maker of semiconductors that allow computers to connect to more than one monitor through USBs, has brought in $8 million in a fourth round of venture funding, according to an SEC filing. The Palo Alto, Calif. company did not list investors in the recent round, though it previously received financing from Atlas Venture, Balderton Capital, DAG Ventures and DFJ Esprit. It has raised $51 million to date.

DisplayLink, a Palo Alto, Calif. company that makes chips to allow connections between computers and other visual display devices using USB, has raised $24 million in a third round of financing.
The funding comes from DAG Ventures, and included investors Atlas Venture, Balderton Capital and DFJ Esprit.The company has raised a total of $51 million of capital.
DisplayLink develops semiconductor and software to connect devices like monitors, PCs, projectors and other accessories.
