Tekarma, a web site that compiles user-generated product reviews and tips in one place, launched its private beta last week. For now, the site is focused primarily on electronics, household items, cars, video games and sporting goods. FixYa, a site offering electronic device troubleshooting, raises $6M more

FixYa, an Israel-based company that operates a website to help with troubleshooting electronic devices, has raised $6 million in a second round of funding.

Investors are Mayfield Fund and Pitango Venture Capital. The company said it will use the money to expand its operations in the U.S. and Israel, as well as build new services. It claims 6 million visitors per month.

Retrevo, the search engine for consumer electronics products, has raised $3.2 million more in venture capital — timing the news to generate buzz ahead the CES consumer electronics conference in Las Vegas next week.
