Sales intelligence company InsideView raises $6.5M
InsideView, a company that analyzes web sites, social-networking sites and subscription-based sources for potential sales leads, has raised $6.5 million in a second round of venture funding. The San Francisco startup says it’s still doing well despite the economy, with 410 percent year-over-year sales growth, and 60 percent growth between the third and fourth quarters of the last year.

InsideView acquires TrueAdvantage, to boost online market intelligence

InsideView, a company that provides “inside view” of the hierarchies of large companies so that markerters can pinpoint which executives are important enough to pitch, has acquired TrueAdvantage, a company it hopes will help it in that endeavor.
InsideView’s rivals include Hoover’s, Reuters and other traditional providers of marketing intelligence, but InsideView says its advantage is in gathering Web 2.0 data that the providers don’t have.

InsideView raises $7.4M for online sales intelligence software
InsideView, a San Bruno, Calif. company that offers online sales intelligence software, said it has raised $7.4 million in a first round of funding.
Emergence Capital Partners led the round, and existing (seed-round) investors Greenhouse Capital Partners and Rembrandt Venture Partners participated.
InsideView helps a sales person by drawing information from multiple data sources – Hoover’s, Indeed, LinkedI and others — to help them make a sale.
