TubeMogul raises $3M for video analytics, syndication

TubeMogul, an online video distribution and video analytics service, has raised $3 million in a recent round of funding. Founder Brett Wilson says the company will use the funds to grow its video distribution platform and streamline its analytics tools.

TubeMogul raises $1.5M for video analytics

TubeMogul is an Emeryville, Calif. company that helps distribute videos across various portal sites like YouTube, and then reports back to its customers with analytics on their performance.

The service is similar to Visible Measures, which we recently reported on. Both companies are working with large publishers like CBS, Brightcove and and Funny or Die, as well as smaller companies; TubeMogul says it has 15,000 customers already, although it does offer a free version.
