“Plus, being in the Google Hangouts ecosystem you can mix us with other apps,” Lahoutifard told me. “You can activate a prepared logo, namebar, and presentation title, or you can show a PowerPoint.”
Google Hangouts is already a good option for casual connections or business meetings, but now the service is getting an upgrade to 720p HD video.

“We want to price equivalent to a voice call,” Shapiro says. “Our competitors offer an inferior product for more money: Blue Jeans 15 time more, and other competitors 300 times more.”
