Gigle Semiconductor gets $20M more for yet another broadband network chip

Gigle Semiconductor, a Redwood City, Calif., company that makes chips for home networking devices, said it has received $20 million in a second round of funding.

Gigle also has offices in Spain and the U.K.. It backers are Glasgow-based Scottish Equity Partners, and existing investors Accel Partners and Pond Venture Partners, which together previously invested $11 million.
Gigle allows broadband networking connections through home, through existing lines such as telephone or cable, or even electric.
