Stantum lands $13M for multi-touch touchscreens
French touchscreen maker Stantum Technologies announced that it just brought in $13 million in a second round of funding to expand its sales operations in the U.S., Europe and Asia and advance research on next-generation multi-touch products. Formerly called JazzMutant, Stantum says it was the first to produce a screen that could sense an unlimited number of touchpoints. It brings in revenue by licensing its screen technology to third-party product developers.
