Jasper Design connects $7M for circuit verification software

Jasper Design Automation just raised $7 million in fourth round funding from ZenShin Capital, Cambrian Ventures, Foundation Capital and Accel Partners, reports VentureWire. The Mountain View, Calif. company makes software that allows chip designers to check that new features or changes they introduce don’t interfere with the functionality of the original products they are working on. It currently counts Qualcomm, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Nvidia and Sony among its clients.

Aster Data raises $12M for cheap warehousing

Aster Data Systems, which stores data for social networking site MySpace (and others), has raised $12 million in a second round of venture funding.

The Redwood City, Calif. startup offers “frontline data warehousing,” which basically means storage of all of a company’s data for business analysis. YouSendIt gets $14M to send large files

YouSendIt, a company that lets you send and receive large files through your email, has raised $14 million in a third round of funding.

The financing comes from new investor Emergence Capital Partners (the online services-focused firm best-known for backing Salesforce.com) and existing investors Sigma Partners, Alloy Ventures, Sevin Rosen Funds and Cambrian Ventures. YouSendIt raised a $10 million second round last year.
