Goom channels $16M for user-generated online radio

Online radio stations have been taking a hit lately, with record companies cracking down on streaming copyrighted material. But Goom Radio, a new internet radio startup, has decided to take its chances, relying largely on user-defined playlists — much like its peer Pandora Radio. NTRGlobal raises $34M for remote support and collaboration

NTRglobal, a company that offers a range of IT-related products delivered via online subscription, has raised $34 million in funding. The funding was led by new investor Kennet Partners, which was joined by another new investor, Atlas Venture, and existing investors Debaeque and Elaia Partners.

Criteo raises $10 million for product recommendation service

Criteo provides a white-label widget for e-commerce sites that shows shoppers other items they might be interested in buying. The Paris, France-based has just raised funding: A $10.4 million round from Index Ventures.

The company asks users to rate products, and it analyses the historical web-browsing behavior of its users. Recommendations are based on what similar people to you have purchased, and what pages they’ve viewed.
