Kyphon to buy St. Francis for $525M, boosting struggling venture firm USVP

St. Francis Medical Technologies, of Sunnyvale, a company that treats spinal injuries, will be acquired Kyphon of Sunnyvale, for as much as $725 million, the companies said.
