In an endorsement for wireless video networking, Panasonic and Samsung said today they have invested an undisclosed amount into SiBEAM, the maker of high-speed networking chips.
Sunnyvale, Calif.-based SiBEAM makes WirelessHD chips that can wirelessly transfer video from one device to another in a living room. Zetta raises over $10 million for cloud storage
Zetta, a Sunnyvale, Calif. company that plans to offer remote storage for companies, has raised $10.68 million in a first round of funding.
The company is not yet public and has released little information on its plans. However, the funding is slated both for development and marketing purposes, which suggests that it plans to launch relatively soon. A “zetta”, by the way, is a metric prefix for 1021.
Foundation Capital and Sigma Partners led the round.

Canopy Financial, whose HealthDirect platform manages healthcare financial accounts, has raised $8 million in a second round of funding from Foundation Capital. The San Francisco startup raised $15 million in January.
Canopy Financial says HealthDirect can help with the administration of health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts and health reimbursement arrangements — basically, different kinds of tax-exempt accounts intended specifically for medical expenses.
Rohati Systems raises $12M for network security
Network security company Rohati Systems has raised a $12 million second round of financing from existing investors Foundation Capital and Matrix Partners, bringing its total funding to $22.6 million.
