Emergent racks up $12.5M for game-development software
Emergent Game Technologies, a Calabasas, Calif.-based provider of applications used to develop video games more cost-efficiently, just raised $12.5 million in fifth-round funding to support the commercialization of a new product, slated to launch during the Game Developers Conference in late March. SageQuest raises $3.7 million fourth round
SageQuest, a provider of navigation services for fleets for trucks, said it has raised $3.7 million in a fourth round of funding.
The Beachwood, Ohio-based company said it will invest the money in product development and distribution. The round, which closed April 30th, was led by Hopewell Ventures, Gary Mintz and Mark Mintz.
