Horsley Bridge closes $1.5B fund of funds
Horsley Bridge Partners, a San Francisco firm that invests in venture capital and small buyout firms, has closed a new fund of funds at $1.54 billion targeted specifically for Europe and Asia, reports VentureWire. Existing limited partners provided 95 percent of the financing, but the only one that has been disclosed so far is Kentucky Retirement Systems, which gave $50 million.

Horsley Bridge closes $1.76B fund of funds
Horsley Bridge Partners, a San Francisco firm that invests in venture capital and other private equity firms, has closed its ninth “fund of funds” with a total of $1.76 billion, according to VentureWire.

Horsley Bridge Partners, a large investor in venture capital funds, has hired Elizabeth Obershaw as managing director.
Obershaw previously was chief investment officer of Hewlett-Packard’s venture investment activities.
