AnySource channels $3.2M for on-demand internet TV

AnySource Media, a company that makes embedded software for HDTVs to stream internet video on-demand, just raised $3.2 million in capital from NextStage Capital, Murex Investments and assorted angel backers. The company says it wants to deliver online video in a unique way that eliminates the need for a set-top box or elaborate wiring.

Magnify.net takes $750K for web video hosting

Magnify.net, a New York-based startup that helps regular people add videos to their web sites, snagged $750K in first-round financing to expand its operations. It tacks this total onto the $1 million it raised in February. The service allows its users to make and host their own videos and embed videos from sites like YouTube, Hulu and Howcast on their own sites.

Dayak raises $1M for recruiting marketplace

Dayak, a site that connects employers with recruiters, has raised $1 million in additional funding, according to VentureWire. That’s in addition to the $1.15 million that Dayak previously raised for its first round. New investors NextStage Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners led the funding, with existing investor First Round Capital also participating.

Chief executive Allan Sobol told socalTech (which first reported the funding) that the site is used by 1,000 employers and 2,500 recruiters.
