D2C Games, of San Mateo, Calif., has raised $6 million in a first round of funding round to develop more downloadable video games.

D2C is is run by Madden Football architect and Glu Mobile founder Scott Orr, and is backed by new Silicon Valley firm Rubicon Ventures, which earlier invested a seed round of $1 million into D2C (see our earlier coverage).
