Nintendo details 3DS Mario titles, Luigi’s Mansion, and third-party games

Nintendo took a few minutes during its Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event in Los Angeles, Calif. to talk about 3DS games. The Kyoto-based company showed new gameplay for New Super Mario Bros. 2, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. Additionally, the company introduced a handful of high-profile, third-party software that will hit the 3DS in the coming months.

Kingdom Hearts boosts 3DS in Japan while PS Vita flags

Handhelds continue to dominate the video game sales charts in Japan, and one handheld in particular. Driven by the release of a new exclusive title in Square Enix’s hit Kingdom Hearts series, the Nintendo 3DS had a very strong final week in March, leading the software and hardware sales charts by wide margins.
