The new iPad is for gaming

The new iPad, third generation, iPad 3, whatever you call it, is a serious gaming machine. For some games, it even rivals a console like the PlayStation 3. We’re going to see more and more gaming done on the iPad in the months to come. And we’re going to like it.

FIFA Soccer will make you love and hate your PS Vita (review)

EA Sports didn’t just drop a year number from the PlayStation Vita version of FIFA Soccer, a title that’s hugely important for the franchise’s success in portable form. While the developer made some omissions to simplify the intricacies of the console version, this is undoubtedly the most complete handheld iteration ever — not that the bar is set very high in this area.

1991 was a good year for The Simpsons. Some all-time classic episodes aired, the series won a couple of Emmy awards, Bart Simpson t-shirts were still in fashion, and the family starred in an A-list arcade game. It was a better year than 2011, where the series closed in on its 500th episode while a few fans kept up the old argument over when the exact shark-jumping moment happened.
