Just as blogs and online news sources have created a new, distributed media model with many smaller players, the jobs listing market may be undergoing a transformation too. The latest evidence of this comes from Feedster, which today officially took the wraps off its job listings search tool at http://jobs.feedster.com. (Feedster’s been testing the service for a few months, as we noted here.) The San Francisco-based web site allows users to search all the job-related RSS feeds that Feedster crawls. Many of the listings we’ve seen are currently coming from Craigslist. But Feedster is positioning itself for the day when companies begin broadcasting their job openings to the entire Internet with (free) RSS feeds on their Web sites, in addition to posting (paid) listings at large, centralized sites such as Monster.com and CareerBuilder.com

Feedster says the new service is also the first of several new search services it intends to introduce in the coming months.
