When we first reviewed Google’s new Gmail service more than a year ago, we complained about the lack of an easy-to-use “delete” button. “Because they’re giving users a huge amount of storage,” we said, “Gmail engineers apparently view the delete button as a quaint time-waster. Gmail hides its delete function in a non-intuitive pull-down menu and discourages people from using it.” Google still hasn’t addressed this issue. But thanks to Greasemonkey, it doesn’t matter. Herewith, a handy Greasemonkey script that adds a delete button to your Gmail account. And it actually works (Firefox users only). Sweet!
